GoPlus2026-09-28 09:54:04GoPlus flags another meme coin rug factory on Robinhood Chain with over $9 million in 30-day flowGoPlus Security said on Sept. 28 that it had identified a high-risk fraudulent meme coin factory on Robinhood Chain, with more than $9 million in transaction flow over the past 30 days and links to hundreds of scam meme tokens. The team pointed to a fund collection address, 0x8c3Bad30cc7563A2D0357F49509FFd063666bb00, which held about 56.0635 ETH, or roughly $148,000, as of Sept. 28, 2026. According to GoPlus, the address had around 1,385 transactions in total. Across its latest 400 transactions, inflows were about 1,728.02 ETH and outflows were about 1,861.12 ETH, bringing two-way turnover to roughly 3,589.14 ETH, or about $9.49 million. GoPlus said it found direct on-chain evidence across related high-risk meme tokens showing a pattern of token approval or selling, liquidation into ETH, and transfers into the same collection address. The firm added that the figures reflect gross amounts routed into the collection system for the same project batches, not net profit. It also compared the pattern with a separate case recently disclosed by on-chain researcher Wazz, while saying there is no evidence at this stage that the two cases involve the same group.760
Robinhood2026-09-27 14:14:39Wazz says organized rug-pull group on Robinhood linked to 53 token launches in two monthsChainCatcher reported that on-chain analyst Wazz has identified what he described as an organized serial rug-pull and fund-extraction group operating on Robinhood. According to Wazz, the group was linked to 53 token launches over the past two months, with directly traceable extracted funds reaching $18.43 million. He added that the real figure could be higher. Wazz said the operation followed a repeatable pattern. Proceeds from one launch were moved within seconds into the starter wallet for the next launch, creating a visible chain of funding across multiple token issuances. He also said each launch involved 70 to 200 wallets used for bundled sniping, allowing the group to capture more than 70% of token supply. Most of the launches were carried out through the Pons V2 platform. He further alleged that the group created hype before official launches by staging “fake launches,” drawing in market attention before releasing the real contract address. Wazz said the token that triggered this investigation, $DEED, did not even rank among the top 10 cases by extracted amount.260
Robinhood2026-09-27 13:58:40Analyst flags Robinhood-linked group tied to 53 token launches and $18.43 million in cash-outsOdaily reported, citing on-chain analyst Wazz, that a group operating on Robinhood has been carrying out repeated rug-pull cash-outs. Over the past two months, the group was linked to at least 53 token launch projects and is estimated to have cashed out about $18.43 million in total. Wazz added that the real scale may be larger than the amount currently identified on-chain. The probe was sparked by the DEED token, but the cash-out tied to DEED did not rank among the group’s top 10 exits. The disclosure points to a broader pattern of token launch activity rather than a single isolated case.280
YokaiCapital2026-09-21 04:42:23Trader YokaiCapital accuses crypto KOLs and platforms of token manipulation and data misuseTrader YokaiCapital has publicly accused a group of crypto key opinion leaders and platforms of misconduct tied to token promotion and user data handling. The post names Pump.fun, Frank, Shadow, Unipcs, Ansem, DipWheeler, orangie, Axiom, BubbleMaps, and InsightX. According to YokaiCapital, the people or platforms involved used fabricated social media engagement, linked wallets, and fake leaderboard accounts to create attention around tokens. The trader also alleged that some of those named controlled the tokens in question and later pushed prices higher before selling. The accusations go beyond token activity. YokaiCapital also claimed that Axiom stored and shared private user data, traded using that information, and charged more than $100,000 in display fees to newly launched platforms. At this stage, the claims are based mainly on YokaiCapital’s own statements. Responses from the parties named have not yet been included, and the allegations remain to be independently verified.380
security inci2026-09-02 10:20:11Crypto Security Losses Hit $215M in August: Price Manipulation and Governance Flaws DominantAugust 2026 saw a total of $215 million in crypto security losses, a sharp increase from July's $97 million, making it the third-highest month of the year. Price manipulation attacks emerged as the top threat, with the Tectonic incident alone causing $75 million in damages. Governance vulnerabilities and upstream dependency exploits also played significant roles, with Term Finance losing $8.5 million and Cosmos EVM bug affecting six chains. Phishing scams evolved, including expired domain hijacking and a fake Trump-themed rug pull. ZeroTech Security recommends stronger governance controls, multi-source oracle pricing, and user vigilance against phishing links.1260
MCP2026-09-01 07:39:38MCP Servers Become New AI Attack Surface: 40% Found VulnerableSecurity firm Lakera analyzed 10,000 MCP servers and found that roughly 40% have exploitable security weaknesses. Threats include tool poisoning and rug pull attacks, where attackers can manipulate AI agent behavior via malicious instructions. Check Point and other vendors are developing dedicated AI firewalls. MCP, released by Anthropic in November 2024 as an open standard, had over 10,000 active public servers by December 2025, with support from AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure. Major AI platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot have adopted the protocol.890

As of press time, the token’s market capitalization stood at about $378,500, while its 24-hour trading volume was $6.1 million. The report also noted that this type of attack has appeared repeatedly in recent incidents, with hackers using celebrity or high-profile accounts to promote meme coins before a rug pull.
